Today we can offer accommodation at La Pomme d'Or and at The Vicarage (La Cure). The houses are only 150 meters from each other. La Pomme d'Or consists of 3 houses, which are all kept to a high standard. The houses are from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and are built in stone. The three farmhouses are of a high standard, having been completely restored with all modern amenities without losing any of their old rustic charm. Many of the original features such as the antique stone floors and wooden roof beams have been retained. The garden is spacious and tranquil with several places furnished for sitting, relaxing and eating. There is even the possibility to barbeque. Our guests have access to all the beautiful "garden rooms" hidden away from view. In the garden it's also a pool that was installed during the winter of 2008/2009. The property consists of a large stone house The Vicarage (La Grande Cure) and The Little House (La Petite Cure) where the priest originally lived. These houses have also been renovated. The style is more modern than it is at La Pomme d'Or. The Vicarage and The Little House are in an enclosed, gated and paved patio area surrounded by flowerbeds where you can have your meals or just sit and relax. If it’s too hot you can go for a swim in the pool belonging to the Vicarage. The properties sleep a total of 28 guests, with the option to put in an extra bed or cot in some rooms. Accommodation is usually leased out on a weekly basis with the week ending on Saturday, although we always try to be flexible and arrangements can be made for shorter or longer stays. Breakfast and dinner are also available to all our guests on request. Our properties are open all year round. The properties also offer parking on the premises. Parking is also available just outside on the calm little streets. We have a non-smoking policy for all indoor areas. |
